Will he help the...Will he improve the club....yes. Will he help them add on to the win total....maybe if the bullpen is as good as last year.

The only way that I see this move helping the club is if they let J. Soria loose and pitch more than a typical "closer." The kid is a BEAST. I wish KC fans knew that they had the 4th best closer in baseball.

As a Twins fan, I like to think that our OF is way better than KC's. That may not be true now, but do you really need to pay a guy like Coco Crisp a potential 13 million dollars over the next two years? Will he improve his lifetime .312 OBP as a leadoff hitter? Can he and Mike Jacobs make a big impact?

I think that the owner of the Royals is a tool, and they will somehow convince themselves that hitting Crisp leadoff and Mike Jacobs in the 3-slot will help them win. That is why they are the Royals. I want them to improve, I really do, especially with their AAA affiliate in my backyard. Their moves this offseason, though, are suspect at best.Natehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13502683322240173779noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3522709332542333366.post-62274671609240072762008-11-20T23:02:00.000-06:002008-11-20T23:02:00.000-06:00I agree.
